The Eneco Tour: A six day stage race on the narrow, cobbled roads of the Netherlands and Belgium. Sponsored by Dutch company, Eneco Energie, the 2011 edition of the race was won by Norwegian Edvald Boasson Hagen of Team Sky.

As is typical of the Benelux region, the forecast throughout the race was grey and rainy with sparse sunlight.

The route contains many of the climbs from the spring classics including the Mur de Huy from La Flèche Wallonne, and the Cauberg of Amstel Gold fame. The final and queen stage of the Eneco Tour covered 22 of the bergs so typical of the countryside. I had the fortune of following the last three stages of the race for Embrocation; these were a time trial and two road stages, 189 and 201 km in length, respectively.

So I share with you, the sights of the Eneco Tour.
