Evan Burkhart discovered his passion for two wheels as a 19-year-old Journalism student at UNC-Chapel Hill. After graduating in 2008, he decided to put the public relations career on hold in order to focus on chasing his dream of being a pro bike racer. After spending last year racing as an amateur for Mountain Khakis fueled by Jittery Joe’s, he has relocated to the northeast to ride for the BikeReg.com/Cannondale Elite Amateur Cycling Team. He is the voice of every struggling amateur cyclist with big dreams, tiny arms, and an empty bank account.
