Mosaic is a relatively new player to the game, but every year they impress. Winning awards, knocking socks off, Mosaic shows no signs of slowing down.

These guys never cease to impress with their welds, but they are taking their brushed and blasted finishes to places no one else does. They don't stop there, though. Their steel bikes rival the work of anyone out there. Used to be when I heard "Mosaic Cycles" all I thought was Ti, but these days their steel continues to draw my attention.

Calfee has long been known for bamboo and carbon fiber creations, but as of the last few years he's taken a few new models to an entirely new level. The Manta Pro is a new range-topper for Craig as of last year, with some new tweaks to keep it at the top of it's game.

It should be put out there: I have a love affair with Independent Fabrication. They aren't the little guys anymore, but my first custom bike came from them. I've owned nearly every model in their lineup and one time or another, each one left a lasting impression on me. There's no doubt I'll own another one of their bikes soon enough, and it's clear they are still on top of their game.
